Families and groups of friends in this day and age are spread so far and wide, struggling to find the time, opportunity and location to reconnect with each other, and our family is no different. Ronachan House has been to us what we wish it to be for you, the perfect location for you to reconnect with your loved ones.
Ronachan House is the perfect location for families and groups of friends of all shapes and sizes to come together and create memories that are food for the soul.
From the white sandy beach which invites relaxing walks and thrill seekers alike, to the indoor facilites within Ronachan’s walls such as our snooker table, games room, library, open fires, cosy kitchens and multiple communal spaces, you will find everything you need for everyone in your party to feel like they belong.

From the moment you arrive at your destination, Ronachan opens its arms and envelops you in a warm hug of welcome. Make your way down the long drive towards the property, winding through centuries old trees and shrubbery nestled into the embankment, pass alongside a naturally flowing brook and over a stone bridge, until the grounds of the property open up in front of you.
You are welcomed by the view of the bay first, the sea lapping onto the shores of the white sands of Ronachan Beach, before turning to the property you will be staying in which proudly sits overlooking the beach and the islands of Islay, Jura and Gigha beyond.
Once inside, every step you take and turn you make presents to you another room and another corner of our property designed to delight and wonder at. We can’t wait to welcome you inside.

Every detail of Ronachan House is designed to nurture the wellbeing and happiness of our guests. We believe in the importance of using your holiday time for recuperation, and for reconnecting with your loved ones, with nature and with yourself.
We have ensured multiple relaxing and comforting communal spaces within and outside our walls so that your time together is spent enjoying each others’ company.
From the lawns where you can set up picnics and group games, to our BBQing areas for al fresco dining, to the hillside woodland walk at the rear of the property to the viewing point over to the islands, and to the beach at the foot of the gardens with its welcoming sandy shores…Ronachan House will reconnect you to the nature that surrounds it. But it also provides ample opprtunity to explore the Kintyre Peninsula beyond and its endless selection of activities to feed the soul.
Our house has been decorated with a calming and neutral colour palette and accented with a modern Scottish twist. Our aim is to offer a sanctuary from which you can escape the real world and retreat to an oasis for recuperation and enjoyment.

Ronachan Bay is a near secluded beach directly accessed from the garden of the house. It offers white sands for you to stroll along, for the children to play on, and as a memorable backdrop to photographs of your event. Ronachan also has a resident colony of friendly seals who give the house its name.
An Accessible Getaway
Ronachan is beautifully positioned halfway between Tarbert and Campbeltown on the stunning Kintyre Peninsula on the Scottish west coast. It is a straight drive from Glasgow past some perfect stop spots such as Loch Lomond and Inverary.
